Cascas: One Portrait of a Town.
Nestled deep in the highlands of Peru, Cascas is a small Andean mountain town remote enough to be ignored by most. Generations have worked the land surrounding the village, supporting their families and the local population. Cascas is a comfortable, traditional home, limited in opportunity, but wealthy in terms of safety, family and traditional values. Its remote location and lack of tourism allow these important values to continue. Cascas represents a simpler time, and a life that urban and highly populated communities have grown increasingly detached from.
